Mining

Mining is the process by which new 200 $BORE tokens are minted and distributed to players through on-chain rounds.

A. How Rounds Work

  • Each round lasts 3 minutes.

  • During each round, a 7×3 grid of 21 validators is displayed.

  • Miners can deploy BNB on one or more validators in the grid, effectively “prospecting” for the winning validator.

B. Round Resolution

At the end of the round:

  1. One winning validator is randomly selected by the Binance VRF oracle.

  2. All BNB deployed on losing validators is split amongst miners in proportion to the size of their claimed space on the winning validator.

  3. The protocol mints +200 $BORE as the base mining reward for that round.

  4. This +200 $BORE:

    • Either shared among all miners on the winning validator, proportional to their BNB share,

    • Or, in certain configurations, a single miner on that validator may be chosen by weighted random (also derived from the VRF output) to receive the entire +200 $BORE.
