Motherlode

The Motherlode is an accumulating bonus pool designed to periodically deliver large surprise payouts to winning miners.

Emissions

  • Each round, the protocol mints +50 $BORE and adds it to the Motherlode pool.

  • If not triggered, this pool continues to grow over time across many rounds.

Trigger & Payout (via VRF)

When the winning validator for a round is revealed:

  • The same Binance VRF oracle response is used to determine whether the Motherlode triggers.

  • There is a 1 in 441 probability that the Motherlode is hit in a given round, based on comparing the VRF-derived random value to a predefined threshold.

  • The entire Motherlode pool is distributed to miners on the winning validator, proportional to their BNB share, or one very lucky winner.
